Hi there 👋 I’m Sertan.

I’m a software developer living in Istanbul. I mostly develop web services written in Ruby on Rails and Go running on AWS and just started using Azure for some projects.

More than 4 years hands-on experience in development of various web applications using Ruby, Ruby on Rails.

Tech stacks

Currently:

Ruby on Rails, Go, Node.js, React.js, Graphql, Docker, Postgresql, Redis and Memcached.

Desired:

Firstly: GRPC, Smart Contracts, more Graphql, more orchestration.

Then:

I’m learning Kubernetes for orchestration and Terraform for infrastructure. I created small projects with Terraform and Kubernetes but I would like to use these technologies in a real product.

My BIGGEST desire is to work with a fully automated system.

Important NOTE:

😎 Sometimes I make (pre)music to relax on AbletonLive for fun 🤠. I mostly make scary tunes, but it’s pretty fun to do 🤓.

My favorite idea right now:

Fear is the best killer that prevents people from doing good jobs(except for music🤓).
